When discussing her role, Catherine’s countenance radiates genuine joy as she articulates her profound gratitude for the privilege of serving as a caregiver.
“I love my job as a caregiver as I have a great joy of helping people. This job has helped me meet many different people and deal with many different situations. Which in turn has helped me grow in my skills and continues to teach me more in how to help many others. During my time as a caregiver I have connected with many clients and been happy to care for them, give a helping hand, and just overall make there day just a little brighter.
One beautiful experience is a wonderful client who never new my name and called me Smiley. It was a sweet nickname and always warmed my heart. As a caregiver I have learned humility, empathy, and the joy of bringing a smile to someone who is suffering. It is a fulfilling job and I will continue to work my hardest to bring a smile to each and everyone of my clients and help in all ways possible.”
