Taste fresh fruit at your local farmer’s market

One of the best parts about living in Orange County is the accessibility to great farmer’s markets year round. Some of our favorite farmer’s markets perfect for your elderly parents can include: Farmers Park Market at the Anaheim Packing District, Farmer Mark along Newport Beach Pier, Orange County Farm Bureau in Tustin, and the farmer’s market located at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine. These farmer’s markets are not only family friendly, but a fantastic opportunity to support local farmers and encourage health and wellness.

Pick pumpkins at your local pumpkin patch

With corn mazes, petting zoos, carnival games, and wagon rides, pumpkin patches serve as a great location for your next family outing this fall. While it can be difficult to find activities suitable for both your elderly parents and young children, pumpkin patches have something for everyone. Some of our favorite pumpkin patches in Orange County can include: Tanaka Farms in Irvine, Pumpkin City’s Pumpkin Farm in Laguna Hills, and Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch in Irvine. All three of these pumpkin patches are wheelchair accessible and ideal for bringing out the childlike spirit in everyone!
