Congratulations to Betty Giliszer, Caring Touch Award Winner!

    We are honored to have Betty Giliszer as a member of our team.  Betty recently won the prestigious "Caring Touch Award" sponsored by the Friends of Alzheimer's Caregivers, which recognizes her as one of Southern California's top Home Care Aides!  Betty exemplifies Colonial's values and principles, and is but one of the many outstanding Home Care Aides on our staff.

    Catherina founded Colonial Home Care in 1992 with the mission of providing a high quality home care service at a reasonable cost to clients without sacrificing customer service.  She had worked in a similar business prior, and realized that there was a better way to run a home care agency, and thus Colonial was born.  Private duty home care was a fledgling industry at the time, and Catherina's innovative techniques and abilities helped position Colonial as one of the leading home care providers in Orange County for years to come. 

    Trevor is Colonial's Office Administrator, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business activities.  With Colonial since 1994, Trevor supervises all administrative staff.  Trevor is also a Certified Care Manager (CMC), which gives Colonial the unique ability to incorporate a Care Management approach to home care not typically found with other home care agencies.   Trevor has also become a somewhat of a local authority to many on many home care related issues such as Long Term Care Insurance, Wage and Hour regulations, Workers Compensation Insurance, home care business models, and more.  Trevor has consulted with local community and State organizations on such topics, and continually applies his knowledge and expertise to Colonial's business principles, ultimately leading to the best possible service for our clients.  

    Nancy is Colonial's Client Services Manager, and has been with Colonial since 1999.    She is responsible for general oversight of the service process, managing client schedules, and staffing of employees.  Nancy also performs the initial assessment and evaluation of clients, and Home Care Aide recruiting and supervision.  Nancy will always do her best to ensure our clients' needs are fulfilled and services are satisfactorily performed.

    Sandra Began her career with Colonial in 2004.  Sandra is a Client Services Manager who also specializes in community relations.  In addition to working with clients and Home Care Aides with scheduling needs, Sandra develops and maintains Colonial's relationships with area hospitals, nursing homes and community organizations.  Whether in the office or out in the field, Sandra is continually working to enhance the level of service for which Colonial has become known.
